Clean power in audio and video studios is crucial for quality recording and processing. Nevertheless, many never recieve clean power. Some filters are designed to provide protection from electrical events originating outside the studio including lightning strikes. Other filters reduce high frequency switching noise associated with microprocessors and power supplies from within. The e~liminator Studio & VIII, however, filter out all of this, in addition to noise, transients, and distortion associated with:

• noise from components sharing the power line
• initial patch cable contacting
• crosstalk from wireless transmitters
• studio appliances
• lighting and dimmer controls
• HVAC systems starting and stopping
• interference from wireless phones and routers
• RF from motorized equipment

The e~liminator Studio & VIII have four channels with two outlets each for eight outlets of clean, filtered, safe power. Dual MOVs protect from incoming high energy spikes from both line to line and line to ground. A main input, low frequency filter protects from 1kHz to 100kHz, and high frequency RFI/EMI filter protects from incoming noise and distortion. Each of the four channels are isolated by individual filters to eliminate crosstalk between channels from 100kHz to 5MHz. Both the e~liminator Studio and the e~liminator VII provide protection and power filtration all mounted in a slim 2U rack mount case for ease of use in the studio or on the road!

The difference between the e~liminator Studio and the e~liminator VIII is that the e~liminator Studio has two differential mode filters per channel in addition to the two common mode filters featured in the e~liminator VIII. While both provide excellent filtration and protection, the e~liminator Studio goes on step further by completely isolating each outlet from the other seven.
